Improved Scanning Range
The Focus Premium Max boasts an extended range of up to 400 meters. This significant increase in range over previous Focus models enables you to capture data from larger structures and use the scanner for broader geospatial applications, such as infrastructure surveys, topographical mapping, stockpile volume calculations, and more.
The Focus Premium and Focus Core provide ranges of 200 meters and 100 meters, respectively.
Speed and Efficiency with Flash Technology™
All models of the Focus scanner allow you to take Flash Technology™ scans when you need speed and traditional scans when you need detail. Flash scans, which use a panoramic camera, boost field productivity by over 50%, significantly reducing the time spent on site. Surveying professionals can generate dense point clouds with Hybrid Reality Capture™, capturing approximately 23 million points per scan.*

Real-Time Scanning Insights with FARO Stream App
No more “scanning blind” when on the job site! The FARO Stream App features pre-registration capabilities in the field, allowing you to plan scans efficiently and view captured data in real-time before leaving the site. An overview map provides a comprehensive view of all scanned areas, ensuring no detail is overlooked, even outside the scanner’s direct line of sight.
