A car-mounted ZEB Horizon or Orbis scanner can collect data up to 30 mph and is suitable for collecting data in areas such as town centers, public roadways, and busy campus sites. The Car Mount allows users to attach their ZEB Horizon or Orbis to a vehicle using magnets with a vertical pull strength of up to 22 kg. A metal car roof is required. If a car roof is plastic or aluminum, straps can attach the mount.
